A textbook called "Mathematics Teaching Methodology" was presented at NSU

In the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University, the presentation of the textbook entitled "Methodology of Teaching Mathematics" was held in the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University.

Director of the Scientific Library, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Khumar Mammadova spoke and said that the textbook was prepared for students studying in "Mathematics Teaching" and "Mathematics and Informatics Teaching" specialties. It was noted that the publication covers modern methods and approaches in teaching mathematics, principles of training organization and assessment methods.

Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, Associate Professor Vugar Salmanov gave detailed information about the book. It was reported that the 13-chapter material deals with mathematics teaching methodology, selection of teaching methods, identification of teaching materials and their adaptation to high school education.

Associate professor of "General mathematics" department Orkhan Jafarov, head of department Abdulla Hasanov, head of "General and theoretical physics" department Billura Hajiyeva, deputy dean of physics-mathematics faculty Ruhiyya Jafarova, head teacher of "general mathematics" department Javanshir Guliyev and others spoke at the event. In the speeches, the importance of methods and principles in teaching mathematics was emphasized, and the importance of the materials in terms of professional training of future teachers was noted.

One of the co-authors, Konul Aliyeva, spoke online, and Aynura Seyidova spoke at the event, talking about the process of preparing the book, the goals they set, and the work done towards the creation of the publication. The authors expressed their satisfaction with the results of the work and expressed their gratitude for the attention and support.

At the end, bouquets of flowers were presented to the author Aynura Seyidova.
